TREE

phpThumb_generated_thumbnailjpgTREE is a group of local residents, local councillors and members of other like-minded groups who have gathered together with a vision of reducing the carbon footprint of Truro and surrounding parishes, reducing fuel poverty and working towards a better connected energy network in the city.

The core team would like to see a thriving city meeting its energy needs from community-owned renewables from which the community will benefit financially.

They are  looking into the feasibility of small-scale renewable projects which would be owned by the community and the income from which would benefit local facilities. TREE welcome anyone who would like to join them from the surrounding areas. To find out more about how you can get involved visit their website. You can also find them on Facebook and Twitter.
