About this group
Energise Queens Park is an environmental project supported by Westminster City Council and the London Sustainability Exchange. We are based at the Queens Park Forum office at the Beethoven Centre. The aim of the project is to help people to draught proof their homes to prevent energy loss and to encourage local residents to adopt energy saving measures. In addition we are promoting sustainable use of water through our Front Garden Competition as many residents in Queens Park are keen gardeners. Mostly we want to engage the community in environmental issues and hope to move on to encouraging more recycling and in, conjunction with the Queens Park Bike Society which the Forum is about to launch, to encourage people to use their cars less.
