What's happening at energyshare? Anything? When do we find out what is required of us for submission to the short-listing panel and how much time we have to produce it? Will we get access to the expert help mentioned or will that only be available to the few that are shortlisted?

And the question in the back of everyone's mind - is HeidiP the entire 'energyshare team' ? ;-)

Hi Geoff

Thanks for your message - you should receive an email today letting you know what's happening next with the fund and we have updated the funding page so you'll find more info there too.

Apologises if it seems we've been a bit quiet of late, but rest assured we've not all disappeared on holiday (except for Heidi). We're busy digesting all the fund registrations and planning for the next exciting phase of energyshare's development...more to be revealed shortly!

Heidi is the energyshare community manager - which is why you hear so much from her. The core operational energyshare team is made up of five members, working on the website, communications, funding and partnerships. We are supported by KEO's design and development teams and of course our founding partners and steering group.

Hope that answers all your queries, Tara
(Energyshare Partnership Manager)

Over the duration of this campaign I have found HeidiP , to have a quick response to my questions and be more than helpful so personally I have to disagree with this question as I have to give credit where credits due. I do think that as it has been mentioned several times before that this fund is in its early stages and patience is required. I speak for myself and I am sorry to see that others are not so happy. It would be great to see some positivism being spread. Energyshare keep up the good work, the bigger picture explains all.

Thanks Tara, that fills in a lot of information gaps. It's good to know that Heidi isn't on her own and is in fact getting a well earned break!

Hi there,

Groups who are already through to the next stage of the fund application should have received an email last week with more information, and there will be an update at the end of this week.

This will include the timings for completing the application form for the next stage.

Once the application forms are submitted, the energyshare fund panel, which includes representatives from energyshare, British Gas, River Cottage and Friends of the Earth, will assess all submissions and short-list approximately 10 projects to be put to a public vote to determine who will receive energyshare funding.

There's some more information on the updated fund page: http://www.energyshare.com/fund/about-applying/

It's also great to see so many energysharers spreading their knowledge to other groups in the blogs and these Q&As, it's how we can help projects get going faster: http://www.energyshare.com/blogs/

Hope that helps and thanks all for the feedback. It's helpful to see where we need to fill in the gaps!
