Wednesday 18 May is energyshare day at River Cottage HQ
energyshare have organised an amazing day at Park Farm in Devon, the home of River Cottage, packed full of information, inspiration and energyshare fund facts.
The free event on Wednesday 18 May is ideal for anyone planning on applying for energyshare funding in May 2011. The packed agenda will include:
- Case studies from communities already generating their own renewable power.
- Expert speakers and workshops covering loads of useful subjects including: planning, financing your project, calculating carbon and community consultation.
- The chance to meet the people behind the energyshare fund to find out how your community might benefit and how to prepare your application.
We’re expecting there to be a lot of interest in the energyshare day, but with limited space and a wish to make access as fair as possible, places will be allocated on a one person per community basis, and be drawn out of a hat.
Preference will also be given to those who have registered for the energyshare Launch Fund; we hope to run events later in the year for those interested in applying to the follow up energyshare Fund.

If you’re successful in our free ticket draw, we’ll let you know by Wednesday 11 May.
If your name is not drawn, don't be too disappointed. We’ll be recording and videoing the day’s proceedings, and uploading it all to the energyshare website on Thursday 26th May. So apart from the not being in sunny Devon that day, we hope you won't miss out on too much.
