I was congratulated today about an article in the local chronicle, “The News is out!” I didn’t know they were doing an article so it was a pleasant surprise.

In all the haze of awaiting the results I have been ploughing on trying to rally up support for my group, here’s a few of the events this week:

Friends of the earth meeting-  concluding a film night for members to watch the age of stupid I recommend that all people with an interest in renewable watch it.

Pelsall history centre with wildlife trust linking my project with other outdoor classrooms

Birmingham City University A site Visit to Ironbridge power station it was very informative for my students project- Greenenergy, I also asked them to bring in five Jam jars  illustrating that recycling the jars would conserve enough energy to power their laptops for 2 hours and 5 min”

Ideal for All- Preserve workshops to involve the local community in the preserving of foraged food including people with disabilities

I’m keeping busy with making links and finding new supporters, and anxiously awaiting the news to see if we are through the next round of ambitious endeavour, I’m checking my emails constantly hoping for news. I hope others are finding it less tortuous! Good luck all.
