How can I get others involved?
The biggest changes start at home but only grow when you get your friends, family and community involved. Why not start up an energyshare group and invite other people from your flat, road or town? Saving energy can be easy...and even fun.
We waste energy every day without even thinking about it. Our houses leak hundreds of kilowatts whenever we leave our televisions on standby, or have lights and radiators turned on in rooms we’re not using, or use the wrong programme on the washing machine or dishwasher. And those kilowatts aren’t free. It has been estimated that the average household could save over £250 on their annual energy bills just by making a few small lifestyle changes.
