How can I get others involved?

community save energy

The biggest changes start at home but only grow when you get your friends, family and community involved. Why not start up an energyshare group and invite other people from your flat, road or town? Or maybe someone has got there before you and there’s already a local community that you can join. If a dozen of you want to get your lofts insulated you’ll be able to get a much better deal than if you approached a supplier alone.

And if you’re after a little help or inspiration then be sure to check out the energyshare Guides and Case Studies. The energyshare community boasts a wealth of information and if you’re just starting out on your journey there’s some great advice to be found.

Saving energy can be easy...and even fun.

We waste energy every day without even thinking about it. Our houses leak hundreds of kilowatts whenever we leave our televisions on standby, or have lights and radiators turned on in rooms we’re not using, or use the wrong programme on the washing machine or dishwasher. And those kilowatts aren’t free. It has been estimated that the average household could save over £250 on their annual energy bills just by making a few small lifestyle changes.
