The Green Doctor project provides free support through a professional yet friendly home energy assessment visit and technical measures service within the comfort of the home. Following initial client referrals, we would arrange individual home visits to interested eligible residents.

Are you eligible  for the Green Doctor project?

- are you on a low income and are or have one of the following?
- Children under 16 living in  the household.
- Registered disabled
- Aged over 60
- In receipt of benefits

During the home visit we provide energy efficiency advice specifically tailored to the needs of the household; we carry out a free home energy check, and we also look into available grants for improvements such as loft and cavity wall insulation, central heating installations and repairs.

Also, these households will also benefit from the free supply and installation of basic technical measures including draught proofing of windows and doors, energy efficient light bulbs throughout the home, new hot water tank jacket, and reflective radiator panels. These measures are fitted by our experienced Green Doctor Technical staff.
