Whiteparish is a community of about 1600 souls of all ages bang in the middle between Salisbury and Romsey which are each about 8 miles away. Today, indoor sports and social facilities in the village are old and spartan and do not encourage new sports, clubs or members. The Village has a plan to build a new community centre - in the middle of the village, to provide a range of facilities within easy walking distance that leverages modern, sound ecological principles to ensure that ongoing operational costs are optimised.
